Noteisha Womack
Founder & Mental Coach of Athlete Unbothered

A native Washingtonian, Teisha’s interest in mental health began when she was 14 years old and someone close to her suffered from manic depression and died by suicide. She quickly developed a passion for how the mind works and the role it plays in one’s life. As a collegiate athlete at Seton Hall University, she struggled with her own mental strength, including anxiety and depression, which caused her to self-learn ways to change the way she thought. Despite averaging a double-double and leading the Big East in rebounds her last two years, performance anxiety and the fear of success kept her comfortable although she knew she could achieve more. Post college, she played a season overseas in Poland, found joy in teaching in the classroom, working in a gym, being a strength and skills trainer. However, her passion for Mental Skills Training and the need for it in the athletic community outweighed all else, which led her to a Masters in Sports Psychology.

Teisha is a sibling of 7 and a mom of 1 who enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and traveling.
